I've used these books for almost 15 years, and I prefer them over the Right in the Rain for not only field notes but also cross-sections. Awesome books, and they take a beating!

Although not a Rite in the Rain product, the larger size and grid system makes this notebook great for mapping and stratigraphy applications.
